May 24, Day of Mindfulness at Deer Park Monestary
Today my heart feels very full. 🤍 I am so deeply grateful that Kassandra, Julie, Michael W., Andrew, Clifton, and Mike Nam were able to share this magical Day of Mindfulness together at Deer Park Monastery.
Thank you, my dear friends, for the gift you bring to the world each and every day, the gift of YOU. Truly. My heart sings a joyful song for the moments of connection, laughter, stillness, high consciousness, unexpected conversations, peaceful walks, and little human moments we shared together.
There is something so healing about putting a group of beautiful humans into a van for several hours, adding snacks, music, mindfulness, and just enough weirdness… and seeing what unfolds.
We missed Michael Campos, Chris, and Joseph, who were absolutely with us in spirit and part of the heart of this journey.
And something tells me… this will not be the last time Team Awesome adventures together.
I AM GRATEFUL!!!!!!!!
To everyone who showed up, donated, shared, supported, or simply held space — my heart is full.
This week, Yoga Flow States LLC partnered with **Veterans Yoga Project** for **Veterans Gratitude Week**, and together, our little yoga loving community has already raised **over $300** toward our $500 goal! Your generosity directly helps VYP offer free, trauma-informed yoga and meditation classes to veterans, active-duty service members, and their families.
Your presence made this event so special. From the soft blankets to the stillness on the roof, every moment felt like a shared offering of gratitude and healing.
In my trauma‑informed practice, my veteran students have always been some of my greatest teachers. It takes immense courage to land on the mat and trust the process. I’ve learned so much from their resilience, their vulnerability, and their ability to soften even in the hard moments. Being able to give something back is a true honor.
If you’d still like to contribute, donations remain open — every dollar truly helps VYP continue their life‑changing mission.
You can Still make a Donation to our Amazing Veterans!
